The bhajans and the artis sung with deep emotions in the evenings on the banks of river Ganga will surely invoke the soul inside you. if you are not the spiritual kind then river rafting will surely interest you. Rishikesh is just 45 km from Dehradun. A bus ride through the jungle and you are there in an hour. You must watch the video posted by us on youtube.

Also known as the Queen of Hills, the town was estabilished by the Britishers. It is famous for its Church and the bazaar. The weather is just lovely in summers. The evenings can be a little chilly. Just 30 km from Dehradun and you are in heaven. Our students come back with a heavy heart after visiting Mussourie.

3. Visit Katapathar.

15 km on the east of Dehradun is River Yamuna. On the banks of the river there is a small mansion of the erstwhile Queen. You can peep inside and have a look at the riches of the queen and then of course take a dip in the cool waters of Yamuna. never missed by our students.

If you are a nature lover you will not miss it for anything in life. Rajaji National Park is home to hundreds of different birds and animals. Your once in a life time chance to photograph Elephants, leopards, deer in their natural habitat is just next door to Dehradun. Our students love it.

Looking for peace of my mind then this is the place for you. In the heart of Dehradun you will find monks meditating and chanting hymns. You can even pray in the temple. It is a very popular spot with our International students.

6. Visit History.

Located in the bustling bazaar is Gurudwara (temple of Sikhs) Jhanda Sahib. It is 500 years old and is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. The paintings and the devotion of the people will mesmerize you. Every year in March a fair is organized here. People from all over the world visit and celebrate faith. It is worth spending an evening. None of our students has ever regretted visiting the Jhanda Sahib.

7. Visit Haridawar.

On the River Ganga you will find that faith, religion and devotion flow as freely as Ganga itself. Nothing can be more soul touching as a visit to this Holy town. A home to sadhus and gurus Haridawar is truly a place where souls come to rest. 60 kms from Dehradun you can take a bus or a train to Haridawar. None of our students has ever missed it.
